Sizing the door to the opening

We carry Janus Models 650, 1000, 1000i, 2000, 2000i, 2500, and 3100. For Grayson-sized buildings, opening size is the cleanest way to sort them:

Single-bay and storage openings — Model 650. For storage units, enclosures, and back-of-store doors that open occasionally.
Standard shop and warehouse bays — Models 1000, 1000i, 2000, and 2000i. The right range for most Grayson Highway service bays, with insulated options when the space behind the door is heated or cooled.
Oversized equipment openings — Models 2500 and 3100. For wide bays moving trucks, tractors, and trailers in and out.

Doors we hold in stock are Satin White only. A different color means a special order — allow about 2–3 weeks — and we verify the finish with you up front. Height works in your favor more often than people expect: an opening a few inches under a stock height can frequently take the taller stock door, guides trimmed to suit, instead of waiting on a special order.

What's the lead time for a door in Grayson?

A stock Satin White door is the fastest route. A special-order color adds roughly 2–3 weeks. If a bay is unsecured, say so when you call and we will tell you plainly what can be done and when.

Chain hoist or electric operator for my shop?

For a bay that cycles a handful of times a day, a chain hoist is simple and dependable. If trucks move in and out all day, an electric operator earns its keep. Tell us how the bay is actually used and we will steer you to the honest choice.

Will a roll-up door work on my older building?

Usually, yes — but older Grayson buildings deserve a look at the header and jambs first. Send photos and measurements, and we will flag any framing issue before a door is ordered, not after it arrives.
